Why mud?

Mud has been my number one medium of choice since I was a little girl growing up in Helper, Utah. I had an incredible mud pie station where I’d spend hours mixing, building, and creating. Now, mud has become my refuge and artistic outlet. It is quite literally my therapy. From my home studio in Eagle, Idaho, I enjoy working with a variety of clay bodies, glazes, and textures. All pieces are either wheel-thrown or hand-built, so no two pieces are the same. My pottery is always evolving as I create pieces that are both functional and decorative.
